Speak Your Mind

Speak Your Mind: Crammin’ Jammin’

I’m of the opinion that there is almost nothing that the right music can’t make better. For example, a film and video games would lose something if they were sans soundtrack. In fact, NPR recently reported that the right music can maximize your workout. I’m also a big fan of music during study sessions.

When I was in school, I always listened to music while I studied. Particularly during law school. Many an hour was spent listening to Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys and lots more. (Actually, I have an appalling amount of Brit-pop and British alt-rock in my library.) It seemed to focus me on the task at hand.

Do you listen to music while you study? What kind? Do you listen to different music depending on the subject? Do you prefer something fast-paced, or more mellow?
