Speak Your Mind: Left You Dumbfounded
I don’t listen to the radio much; I usually just listen in the car. And when I do listen to the radio, my station of choice is the local NPR station. But every once in a while I like to switch it over to satellite radio to see what kind of music I’m missing out on. I did this over the weekend and I heard the most dumbfounding sentence I’d heard in a long time:
Look, I know and insect isn’t an animal…
Uh…excuse me? This DJ knows insects aren’t animals? (In case anyone is wondering: YES. Insects are animals.) The troubling thing is that this isn’t the first time I’ve heard people say that insects aren’t animals. I don’t know where this came from, but it leaves me speechless every single time.
