Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Properties of Elements Vary Periodically Edition

Hey-o! It’s Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Let’s get down with some chemistry.

Today’s song is called ‘Elemental Funkiness’ by Mark Rosengarten. I wouldn’t call it a funky song, really. But it is catchy. And it actually teaches some things about how the Periodic Table of the Elements is set up and what the different categories mean. It’s different from the typical Period Table songs. It’s not just naming the elements; the song explains how certain elements are different or similar. It makes for a much more satisfying listen.

What? Fun and learning? Sign me up! I can’t think of a better way to send off the week than a sweet science song.
