Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Space is a Pure Void. Why Should it be Stringy? Edition
Welp, it’s that time again. Time for another edition of Awesome Sauce Music Friday!
You’ve no doubt already seen the song we’re featuring in this week’s installment. It’s been freaking everywhere. (Especially my Facebook wall. Because my friends are the most awesome friends.) But I love it so much; it’s really too good not to share.
You have probably already guessed what song I’m talking about. It’s the latest offering from A Capella Science, aka McGill University Masters candidate Timothy Blaise. We featured him over a year ago with his cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” called “Rolling in the Higgs.” I was incredibly impressed with this video at the time, and I still am, but his latest video is off the charts amazeballs. It’s a cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Only it’s about string theory and it’s called “Bohemian Gravity.” Plus it has a sock puppet of Einstein.
Why are you still reading my words? Watch the video and listen to those sounds. Even if you’ve already heard it. Listen again, dammit!
