Awesome Sauce Music Friday: Gamelan on the Golden Records

I have started going to gamelan concerts periodically, and last weekend, I heard live “Ketewang Puspawarna,” a recording of which was sent out on Voyager.

I find gamelan music very soothing and hypnotic, though I don’t know much about it. What about you, dear readers? Do you think this was a good choice for the golden records?
