Awesome Sauce Music Friday! The Zombie Wizard Edition

Holy cow, you guys. Has this week been extra long for anyone else? No? Well whatever. I bet you could still use a funny, awesome song. Which is why this week our featured musical group is The Axis of Awesome.

Separately known as Jordan Raskopoulos, Benny Davis, and Lee Naimo, The Axis of Awesome is a musical comedy group from Australia. (On a side note, what is it with all the super cool comedy musicians from the southern hemisphere? Tim Minchin, Flight of the Conchords…is there something in the water?) Anyway, their most famous song, I think, is Four Chords, where they cleverly point out that lots – lots – of pop songs revolve around the same four chords. (I’m not sure they ever do the exact same version twice.)

They are really funny, and totally worth checking out. But the song we’re featuring today is off their 2010 album Infinity Rock Explosion. It’s called “WWJD.” If you are annoyed by people who refuse to use logic and reason to solve problems, you may like this song. Also, you may like it if you like funny songs. Enjoy!

(Just a note: there is some mild cursing in the embedded clip, and some slightly harsher language in the linked videos above. Not a lot of it, and probably nothing you haven’t heard before. I’m just giving you a heads up.)
