Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Creepy Google Stalker Edition

It’s Friday! And not only that. It’s also Nigel Tufnel Day! So let’s crank this crotch up to 11!

For this week’s edition of Awesome Sauce Music Friday is a little ironic, because we’re featuring a comparatively quiet song. It’s a song by Amanda Palmer (of The Dresden Dolls and Evelyn Evelyn) and Neil Gaiman (of American Gods and Doctor Who) called “I Google You.” Neil wrote the lyrics and Amanda wrote the music. It’s about the compulsion to Google an ex-girlfriend or -boyfriend. It also serves as a warning about how your online life is out there for-freaking-ever.

It’s quite a pretty song. In fact, it’s basically the opposite of anything Nigel Tunfel would play. But still very much worth your time.
