Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Chicago Climate Scientists Edition

Hello Teen Skepchick readers! Isn’t it a glorious day? Plus, it’s Friday, which means it’s time to crank up the music! Today’s video comes from Teen Skepchick Ali Marie. It features an accordion.

Don’t look at me like that. Accordions are cool.

Climate change is, unfortunately, an incredibly political issue. Despite its overwhelming evidence, there is a significant group of people who refuse to be swayed. But even more unfortunately, it’s often non-climate scientists who speak to lay people on issues that effect the future of the planet.

This is part of the motivation for We Are Climate Scientists, which we posted about last May. Now, professors from the University of Chicago have added their voice. But instead of a rap, it’s the blues. With an accordion. I’m gonna say it again: accordions are cool. Enjoy, and happy Friday!

Also? Is it just me, or does Dorian Abbot remind anyone else of Jean-Ralphio from Parks & Recreation?
