Awesome Sauce Music Friday

Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Sad Excuse for a Sunrise Edition

Hello again, and a Merry Friday to you all. I hope you have a great weekend planned. To help you kick off the weekend we have a rather sweet little song. A love song, really, about a pair that doesn’t need anyone but each other. Don’t look at me. I have something in my eye. *sniff*

The song is “I’m Your Moon” by Jonathan Coulton. The song is written from the point of view of Charon, Pluto’s moon. Charon laments Pluto’s downgrade to a dwarf planet. But Charon doesn’t care about Pluto’s planetary status. Charon encourages Pluto to stay true to who it (he?) is. They dance across the cosmos, always facing each other as one of this solar systems few binary systems. It’s an incredibly touching song. Why this isn’t the song all newly married people dance their first dance to, I have no idea.

So enjoy, and have a great weekend, everyone!
