Awesome Sauce Music Friday! Now Allopatric, New Mutations Working Magic Edition
Hellooooo! Are you ready to get your groove on? Well get ready because it’s Friday and that’s what Fridays are for. Today’s song is another parody song. I know; I’ve been out of control with those lately. But this one is good. Really good. And features real women scientists! Huzzah!
This group of scientists from the Barber Lab where they study the Coral Triangle. They call themselves The Barber Lab Quartet. How much do you love that? This whole thing just screams amazeballs. I dare you to watch it and not want to become a marine biologist. I DARE YOU.
The song is set to Billy Joel’s “The Longest Time,” which is a tune that, weirdly, gets stuck in my head every time I hear it. So I’m passing this delight on to you! Enjoy!
