The article about the metric system has some silly bits, though. The imperial system is easier to visualize? No, that’s only because you’re accustomed to it. I for one have no clue how long my feet are, while I do know intuitively how long a meter is. Hell, if you want to play the matching game: a meter is about a pace long. There.
It’s even worth with baking recipes. I know how much 100g of flour is. But a cup? Now you want me to measure flour by freaking volume?!?
